Why should I book my cruise through you instead of the cruise line?
With 35 years leading the travel industry and more than 5 billion dollars in buying power, we are able
to bring you the best deals and often offer additional amenities. If you find a better price, we are

insurance and answering any questions you may have. We are able to give personal service and take
care of all the details for you. When you book with us, you will have peace of mind as you talk with
one person throughout the process: before you leave, during your trip and after you return.

First-Time Cruisers
Is Cruising Expensive?
Going on a Regent cruise is one of the best ways to get a great vacation for a great value. Your cruise
fare with Regent is all inclusive, so once you are on board almost everything is already paid for and
taken care of. This includes: meals, roundtrip airfare, your stateroom, many on-board activities and
entertainment, drinks including specialty wines and spirits, pre-paid gratuities, unlimited shore
excursions and ground transfers. Contact our travel agents to get the best pricing for upcoming Regent
cruises.
Will I be bored?
There is so much to do on Regent; you'll be far from bored. You can pamper yourself in Regent's Canyon
Ranch Spa or heated resort pool. If you want to relax in quiet during the day, just go to the onboard
coffee house, library, internet café or take in a lecture or seminar. For evening entertainment there is
a casino, a two-story main show lounge with full-scale Broadway musical revues and rousing cabaret shows
or stylish relaxed lounges. All this is in addition to the adventure of exploring many exciting ports of
call.
Will I get seasick?
Your cruise is designed to travel the calmest waters, and the ships have stabilizers and advanced
weather information to ensure the smoothest travel possible. If you are concerned about motion sickness,
visit your doctor before you cruise and they will be able to inform you of effective preventative
medications to combat unwanted symptoms. Ask our travel agents to book you in a room that is at the
lowest and most centralized section of the vessel to reduce your chances of feeling discomfort.
Is cruising safe?
Cruise ships are very safe. Congress passed the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act in 2010, and if
you have questions safety information is readily available to passengers. Cruise ships adhere to very
strict security guidelines and practices. If you are concerned you may want to consider travel
insurance. Travel insurance policies can cover a variety of situations depending on the policy you're
purchasing. To learn more, talk to your travel agent. You can read Regent Seven Seas' security guide here.
What if I have dietary restrictions? Can I request
special meals?
General dietary needs such as low salt or low cholesterol foods can be satisfied onboard the ship just
by speaking with the dining wait staff. Please let your agent know if you have any special dietary
requirements. Regent Seven Seas will need to know 90 days prior to sailing.
What should I pack?
The recommended dress aboard Regent is resort-style outfits including shorts/slacks and collared shirts
for men, and blouses, slacks/shorts or day dresses for women. Shorts and jeans may be worn on excursions
and during the day, but are not appropriate after 6:00 pm. There is an exception on the final evening of
the cruise given that guests will be traveling the next day. Formal and semi-formal attire is optional
on sailings of 16 nights or more. Dinner dress includes skirt, or slacks with blouse or sweater, pant
suit or dress for ladies; slacks and collared shirt for gentlemen.

Before the Cruise
What is your policy on passports and visas?
Blanket visas through Regent Seven Seas Cruises cover only their shore excursions, not trips that
passengers decide to do by themselves. It is the passenger's responsibility to determine passport and
visa requirements for their cruise itinerary. It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they are
in possession of all required visas and travel documents prior to sailing. If you have any questions
about your particular itinerary we would be happy to help.
Do I need special vaccinations?
Vaccinations and other health requirements vary by destination. It is the guest's responsibility to
obtain appropriate health documents. Please consult your healthcare professional for any inoculations
you may require, or contact the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) toll-free at
1-800-CDC-INFO (1-800-232-4636) or online at www.cdc.gov/travel.
What is the dress code?
Attire ranges from Casual to Formal Optional. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime onboard or ashore,
and consists of resort-style outfits. Casual wear, including shorts and jeans, is not appropriate after
6:00 pm, with the exception of the final evening of the cruise. On the night prior to disembarkation,
guests may need to pack their luggage early due to morning flights the next day. With this in mind on
the last night of every voyage Regent relaxes the dress code for dinner to Casual.
The recommended onboard dress in the evenings is Elegant Casual resort wear. Formal and semi-formal
attire is optional on sailings of 16 nights or more. Dinner dress includes skirt, or slacks with
blouse or sweater, pant suit or dress for ladies; slacks and collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport
jackets are optional. Jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tennis shoes are not to be worn at dinner, and ties
are not required.
How do I pre-book dining reservations online?
After you book you can go to Regent's website, or contact us and we will book the reservation for you.
Dining reservations may be reserved online beginning 75 days before your cruise sails, or 90 days for
guests eligible for Concierge Amenities, at Midnight Eastern US Time.
How do I pre-book spa services?
For your convenience, you may reserve your Canyon Ranch spa treatment by calling Canyon Ranch beginning
60 days before your cruise, or have your travel agent call on your behalf. Guests under 16 are not
permitted in the Spa or Fitness Center unless accompanied by an adult.
Is there a limit on baggage?
The amount of personal baggage allowed on Regent vessels is not limited, but airlines do have
limitations so please check with your particular airline. The customary allowance per person is two
checked pieces that must not exceed 107 inches (273 cm) when length, height and width measurements are
combined. No single piece may exceed the three-dimensional sum of 62 inches (158 cm) and a weight of 70
lbs. (31.75 kg).
What if I am celebrating a special occasion?
If you are
celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon or other special occasion during your cruise, invite
Regent to celebrate with you by telling your agent.

Smoking Policy
What is your smoking policy?
In light of continuing legislative changes in smoking policies around the world as well as for the

hand smoke and the fire hazard that smoking presents, smoking is prohibited in all suites,
staterooms and balconies fleet-wide.
In addition, cigarette or cigar smoking is not permitted in any enclosed dining areas, whether it be
the ships' main dining rooms, the alternate dining venues or the outdoor dining areas. Cigarette
smoking is only permitted in designated areas of the outdoor pool area and the following public

an extreme fire hazard and is not permitted.
Failure to comply with this ban will result in guests being asked to leave the ship at their
expense, without refund or credit for the unused portion of their cruise.

MagicJack are not permitted to be used onboard.
If you are utilizing a mobile device that accesses the internet via a cellular carrier's network (4G
for example) instead of the ship's wireless access, it will be treated as if you were using your
cell phone and roaming charges will apply. Any costs associated will be billed directly through your
cell phone provider, and not through the ship. Check with your provider for more information on what
rates may apply.

Outbound mail service and postage are available on all ships at a nominal charge.

Health and Medical
Do you offer medical services?
Each ship has a licensed and registered doctor and nurse for professional and emergency services, which
are available at customary charges. The ships' medical centers are designed to provide medical care for
certain temporary illnesses and accidents, and are not intended or capable of providing on-going
treatment of pre-existing medical conditions. For guests requiring oxygen equipment, an oxygen
concentrator is the only form of oxygen equipment allowed aboard ship, and must be provided by the
guest. Regent Seven Seas Cruises' wheelchairs on board are for emergency purposes only.
Do you offer wheelchair accessible suites or provide wheelchairs to passengers?
Wheelchair accessible suites are available, however guests need to provide their own wheelchairs, except
in an emergency.
Should pregnant guests have any special documentation?
Regent Seven Seas Cruises cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the
beginning of, or at any time during, the cruise. Guests in earlier stages of pregnancy must obtain a
physician's "Fit to Travel" note prior to sailing, stating how far along (in weeks) the pregnancy will
be at the beginning of the cruise and confirming that the guest is in good health and not experiencing a
high-risk pregnancy. The "Fit to Travel" note should be faxed to 954-772-3689 to the attention of
Special Services.
The Master in conjunction with the Ship's Doctor has the right to deny boarding if in his
professional opinion there may not be adequate shore side medical facilities available in port
during their cruise.
